Father's Day

I am pretty sure Nick had a great Father's day this year!  We were able to spend it together as a family on Lake Broken Bow in Oklahoma.  We stayed in fabulous little rental cabin on the Glover River.  We had about a 20 minute drive to the lake from there, but it was such a beautiful location.  We were able to take Greyson on his first canoe ride!  He really enjoyed it.  Here are a few pics from our stay!

5th Anniversary

Wow! Five years!  Where does the time go?  I don't know but, I know it goes fast.  Over Memorial day weekend Nick and I were able to celebrate our fifth anniversary.  We took Greyson to Nick's parents house and they so wonderful and kept him for us, and we went up to Taos, New Mexico.  Taos has a significant meaning to us.  It is where we first met on a kayaking trip!  Best decision I ever made was to go on that trip! :)  We had a really good time.  It was very hard to leave Greyson though!  I think the majority of our conversations were about him.  It was a short trip, but we were able to get a hike in.  I was so glad because Nick and I love to be in the mountains.  We also were able to get a lot of good food in :)  Here are a few pictures from our weekend.

Mother's Day

I have to brag a little bit!  I have the most wonderful husband and the sweetest little man!  I had the best Mother's day because of them.  When I woke up the most beautiful bouquet of flowers were waiting for me, along with a gift certificate for a massage and a spa pedicure!  And I was taken out for dinner and had amazing prime rib!  It really was a great day!  Best of all, I got to spend it with the greatest gifts of all!

Thirty!

That is how old Nick is now!  We were able to celebrate in Houston with Nick's brother Aaron and his wife Eileen.  We went to a fabulous steakhouse and I had the best prime rib that I have ever had!  Here is a picture of our little family on his birthday.

Little Man

This last Christmas Nick got an amazing camera!  I have just now started to really play with it.  I am having so much fun taking pictures and using some of the new editing software that I have got.  Here are some shots of our little man.

Twenty Seven!

That is how old I am!  I can't really believe it!  I remember turning twenty six like it was yesterday and it has been one year ago.  Time flies!  As I creep closer to 30, well it doesn't seem like I am creeping, more like hurdeling, I try not to worry about it.  Part of me is starting to feel older but, part of me knows that I should be very thankful that I am blessed with another year of life!  Here are a couple of pictures Nick took of me on my birthday. 

Greetings From Tyler!

Well, we are here and we are finally all settled in.  So far it has been really great!  Greyson has made the transition very easily.  I think Nick and I have too, although we have definitely had our homesick moments!  Tyler is a very pretty city.  There are beautiful running trails that go through town.  Greyson and I go jogging every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Well, I do the jogging, Greyson rides in the stroller.  There is a really nice park on the trail too.  After I am done running we stop and Greyson plays in the park.  Here is a picture of the house that we are renting.
