TWO!

That is how old our Greyson Dean is!  August 30th is a very special day for us!  This year for Greyson's birthday we were able to celebrate in the Panhandle at Nai Nai and Grandpa's house (Nick's parents).  We were so blessed to be able to celebrate his birthday with such wonderful friends and family!  The theme this year for his birthday were construction trucks.  He loves anything with wheels, however, he is really fascinated with dump trucks and bulldozers.  Here are a few birthday highlights!

Big Sky Country

Greyson and I just recently got home from an amazing trip!  We went to Montana!  To most of you it is no secret that am I quite in love with The Treasure State!  We had a wonderful time visiting Greyson's Great Grand Nanny.  I am pretty sure Greyson fell in love with Montana as well.  He was able to enjoy one of his favorite activities, throwing rocks!  We also spent a day at our cabin.  I think Greyson would make quite a little ranch hand.  The first thing he wanted to do was drive the big swather.  I was able to enjoy my new camera.  Here are just a few pictures from our trip!

He had a great time at the zoo! His favorite animals were the birds!

Father's Day

I am pretty sure Nick had a great Father's day this year!  We were able to spend it together as a family on Lake Broken Bow in Oklahoma.  We stayed in fabulous little rental cabin on the Glover River.  We had about a 20 minute drive to the lake from there, but it was such a beautiful location.  We were able to take Greyson on his first canoe ride!  He really enjoyed it.  Here are a few pics from our stay!

5th Anniversary

Wow! Five years!  Where does the time go?  I don't know but, I know it goes fast.  Over Memorial day weekend Nick and I were able to celebrate our fifth anniversary.  We took Greyson to Nick's parents house and they so wonderful and kept him for us, and we went up to Taos, New Mexico.  Taos has a significant meaning to us.  It is where we first met on a kayaking trip!  Best decision I ever made was to go on that trip! :)  We had a really good time.  It was very hard to leave Greyson though!  I think the majority of our conversations were about him.  It was a short trip, but we were able to get a hike in.  I was so glad because Nick and I love to be in the mountains.  We also were able to get a lot of good food in :)  Here are a few pictures from our weekend.
